Pinot Noir is a finicky grape. It requires the proper climate, the right soil, the perfect weather and a masterful winemaker. It is the grape of Burgundy of which some of the most expensive bottles of wine are made. But Pinot Noir can find its place in the climate of the Finger Lakes and in this video, Leah and David try a wonderfully crafted version from Ravines Wine Cellars. Constructed in the Burgundian method it reflects both the terroir of the Finger Lakes as well as the old world style of France.
